What is Camp Crossroads?

Finding something good and productive for children to do in the Summer can be challenging. That's where we think we can help. Loving and caring for children is what we do!

Camp Crossroads is a camp for children provided by Leonardtown Baptist Church in Leonardtown, MD. It is a week-long camp featuring a variety of exciting activities combined with Bible-based teaching, snacks, and a caring staff. Camp Crossroads is for children Pre-K (potty trained 3-year-olds) through RISING 6th graders.

We will only be offering half-day programming this year

from 8:30am - 12pm.

What are we learning about this year?

Believe at Camp Crossroads – The Story of God’s Great Gift!

This summer, Camp Crossroads is celebrating Christmas in August!

Join us August 3-7 for a week full of joy, games, music, and the greatest story ever told - the birth of Jesus. From a manger in Bethlehem to angels announcing good news, we’ll explore why Jesus came and celebrate the incredible gift God gave to the world - His Son! We can’t wait for your child to be part of this unforgettable adventure as we sing, play, discover, and most of all - BELIEVE in God’s amazing love.

Drop Off Time and Procedure

Drop Off Time and Procedure

Drop off time for all campers will be at 8:30am in front of the church where the flags will be flying. We will have our leaders ready and waiting to greet when you arrive. We will have 3 Check-In Stations set up for you to sign your child in for the day. When you sign them in, you will know which tribe they are assigned to. You will then take your child to their tribal group to gather and get their name tag before heading inside to the Opening Gathering.

Pick Up Time and Procedure

Pick Up Time and Procedure

Pick Up time for all campers is 12pm. Pick up will be done by you being able to stay in your car and making a line around the CLC/gym. We will have leaders calling for your children to come out to you! Safety measures will be in place and communicated with you before the start of camp, as well as the first day of camp.

Menu

We are unable to accommodate major allergies but do our best to offer dairy and gluten free options. If allergies are a concern, please send a lunchbox with snacks with your child's full name on it to camp with them.

Our Mission Highlight of the Week: Samaritan's Purse

This year we will be supporting Samaritan’s Purse!
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This week, campers will be hearing all about the work they do and what we can do to help them.
On Thursday, we will be taking up a special offering to be able to purchase Bibles, chickens, goats, food, and even blankets for those in need. We would love for you to view their website to learn more about them!

We have developed a variety of measures to ensure the safety of the children in our care.
