ERIK SINK

Erik became a member of LBC in 2021. He has served in the US Navy as both an operational and test pilot in the F/A-18EF, and currently works at PMA-230 Next Generation Air Dominance.

Erik and his wife Laura have been married since September, 2012 and have two children. Erik is passionate about encouraging and strengthening the church’s families, equipping husbands and fathers to disciple in the home. He believes God uses faithful families to strengthen and support ALL of God’s people in His church, which ultimately empowers external witness and Kingdom growth.

As an elder, Erik is excited to contribute to LBC’s various teaching ministries, coming alongside our servant leaders to help all of us better survey the depths and riches of God’s Word. His prayer and vision for LBC is for God’s people to, “…proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called [us] out of darkness into His marvelous light,” 1 Peter 2:9.
