Women's Seminary Cohort (Hermeneutics)
October 30 – December 4, 2024
Our women’s ministry seeks to lead each woman to a growing, fulfilling relationship with Jesus Christ. We meet together in weekly small group Bible studies and gather for fun and enriching activities throughout the year. We also train women to lead groups of 3-4 women to disciple them as Christ-followers. In all of this our goal is to honor and glorify God so that we find our peace and joy in Him.
“I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another.” (John 13:34, CSB)
This verse speaks deeply to the heart of our women's ministry. Jesus' command to "Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another" calls us to have a love that is selfless, unconditional, and reflective of His own love for us. In our ministry, this means creating a space where each woman feels valued, supported, and cherished.
We are called to build relationships rooted in compassion and empathy, offering a listening ear and a helping hand to one another. It's about being present in each other's lives, celebrating joys and triumphs, and providing comfort and encouragement during challenging times. This command challenges us to look beyond our differences and to see each other through the eyes of Christ, embracing diversity and fostering unity within our community.
By following this new command, we set an example of Christ's love to the world. Our ministry can become a beacon of hope and a testament to the transformative power of genuine, Christ-like love. Through our actions, words, and attitudes, we have the opportunity to reflect Jesus' love and make a meaningful impact in each other's lives and the broader community.
