Claire was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She received her music training through the University of Hawaii, Kapiolani Community College. She worked for 15 years as a professional vocalist in Hawaii, beginning at the age of 16. At the age of 21, Claire accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was led to serve the Lord and use her abilities to honor Him. Her involvement in church music spans two decades and includes working with children’s choirs, youth choirs, vocal ensembles, adult choirs, accompaniment, and directing musicals. Claire joined the staff at LBC in January 2002. She and her family have been members of Leonardtown Baptist Church since November 1999.
Claire and Bruce have four children: Antoinette (29), Tony (25), Jonathan (13), and Lauren (8 yrs.) They have one grandchild, Abigail, daughter of their son Tony and his wife, Sarah. The Menges family has resided in Leonardtown since August 1995.
