Awana

LBC's Awana Clubs are a part of Awana Clubs International.  The goal of Awana is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with children and youth, and to train them to serve Him.  Our Awana Clubs range from 3-year-olds up through High School and are grouped by age:

3 - 4 yrs old:	Cubbies
K - 2nd grade:	Sparks
3rd - 6th grade:	Truth & Training
6th - 8th grade:	Trek (Jr. High Youth group)
9th - 12th grade:	Journey (Sr. High Youth group)

This page focuses on our children's clubs: Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T.  For more information on Trek and Journey, visit our Youth Ministries page.  6th graders have the option to participate in T&T, Trek, or both.  Many of our Trek and Journey students support the children's clubs as Leaders in Training (LIT's) -- a great opportunity to serve and grow in their faith.

Our children's clubs meet on Sunday afternoons from 4pm to 6pm in the Christian Life Center of our Leonardtown campus.

Our 2009-2010 club year wrapped up in May.  We'll start up again on September 12, 2010.  We are actively recruiting adult volunteers to help make our next ministry year a success.  Please send our Co-Commander, Scott, an if you're interested in helping in some way or if you'd like to be informed when preregistration starts (coming soon!).  Also, check out the "Volunteer Opportunity" link in the right margin of this page.  We hope you'll consider joining our awesome ministry team for a fun 2010-2011 year!
