Bible Fellowships

The study of God’s inerrant word is one of the core ministries of Leonardtown Baptist Church. It also helps us fulfill our goal of growing disciples of Jesus Christ by equipping them via "Study." Each Sunday morning we have two study sessions which begin at 8:30 and 10:00 A.M.

Our adults meet to learn from the Scriptures, to fellowship, and to "serve" through our Bible Fellowship groups. In this context, we do more than gain knowledge from the Bible. Our study is based upon the strong belief that God’s eternal truths as recorded in the Scriptures dynamically interact with the persistent needs and growth that are a part of everyday Christian life. We believe that the Bible can inform our thoughts, attitudes, and actions as Christians in the world today. Our children and youth also learn how to be a disciple through our Sunday School that is grouped by age and grade level.
