Welcome Ministry

A smiling face. It can make all the difference in the world. Studies have shown that people typically return to a church for a second and third visit and beyond when they meet a friendly, helpful congregation.

At LBC, we desire for our guests to experience that kind of delightful encounter when they worship with us. So a number of friendly folks compose the Welcome Ministry. Parking lot shepherds greet arriving worshippers outside each week and provide assistance if needed. Once in the building, greeters are stationed at strategic locations to shake hands and welcome people. Ushers are at the sanctuary doors to find seating for our guests and members who need it.  

Perhaps God is leading you to be part of the welcome ministry of LBC. The qualifications needed are a smile and a willing heart. To get involved, please contact the church office.
