About Urban Hills Church...
UHC calls itself “a new and different church for a new generation.” They invite the local community to “ ‘kick the tires’ as we seek to discover authentic biblical truth about Jesus Christ.” UHC held its first service on Dec. 7, 2008 and its first weekly service on April 12, 2009. It meets in the Anderson Township Center for worship and holds weekly Bible studies in homes or local businesses.

Ohio Missions Team Applications
The Ohio Missions Team is open to rising 9th-12th grade youth, 2010 grads, and their parents. Applications and trip information can be found at the Youth Ministry area at both LBC campuses.
Applications will be accepted from May 30 thru June 13.

Preparation Activities Schedule
All team members are expected to attend each of the following activities which are meant to help the team prepare for the work we will do in Ohio.
Ohio Missions Trip Study
We will use a curriculum by LifeWay called “Share Jesus Without Fear”. Each team member will be given a study guide with three weeks of personal devotions. The team will meet three times in order to prepare for the trip.
June 27—OMT Study: Session 1
[6:30-8:00 PM @ Leonardtown Campus]
We will view and discuss the first segment of OMT study.
July 5—OMT Study: Session 2
[6:30-8:00 PM @ Leonardtown Campus]
We will view and discuss the second segment of OMT study.
July 18—OMT Commissioning, Cookout & Session 3
OMT members should participate in a special commissioning prayer during the worship service and campus they normally attend. The whole team is invited to Pastor Acker’s house for a special cookout and OMT study session at 1 PM.
